Senior Acquisition Analyst

AVER is currently seeking a full-time Senior Acquisition Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC in support of a Federal client. 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Purchase Request (PR) comments and reviews,
  • Review and edit PR documents to ensure that content is technically and financially accurate, thorough, and complete
  • Track and monitor PRs through review, approval, final award and total award life cycle
  • Identify and document customer requirements, schedules, and strategies
  • Provide review, comment, and input for statement of work (SOWs), statement of objective (SOOs), and independent government cost estimates  
  • Support review of acquisition documentation from all pre-award activities, such as determining the contract type, conducting market research for cost estimate development, support revision and finalization of a SOWs and acquisition planning, and provide support with proposal reviews
  • Perform, review, and oversee contract administration and management support activities
  • Manage acquisition document distribution and tracking using SharePoint (dedicated collaboration system) and/or any other distribution or tracking tool
  • Track purchase card purchases and reconcile with the CAS portal, as requested.
  • Perform, analyze, coordinate hardware and software deployment activities in support of the Asset Life Cycle
  • Perform and coordinate research and analysis of hardware and software maintenance funding and procurement as it relates to and affects operations, budgeting, and funding.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 15 years or greater of demonstrated Acquisition Analyst experience
  2. Three (3) years minimum of demonstrated experience with government agency processes, products and services, and related applications and tools.
  3. Two (2) years of knowledge and proficiency working with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Access
  4. Significant knowledge and experience in Excel (using IF Formulas, Macro, Pivot Tables, and Dashboards with raw data), SharePoint (creating a Document Library, a List Library, and WebParts), and InfoPath (creating and publishing Forms)
  5. Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
